Ashgabat National Museum of History

The Ashgabat National Museum of History is located in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. It houses more than 500,000 exhibits, focusing on archaeological and ethnographic discoveries from across the country. The collection includes rare ancient artworks, paintings, drawings, sculptures, carpets, fabrics, clothing, household items, musical instruments, weapons, jewelry, medals, historical documents, ivory horn-shaped vessels, statuettes of Parthian goddesses, and colorful Buddhist vases. Additionally, the museum features a substantial collection of fossils and rare geological specimens.
