The Turkmen Carpet Museum, also known as the National Carpet Museum, is located at 5 Gorogly Street in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It opened its doors on October 24, 1994, and boasts the largest collection of Turkmen carpets of any museum. The collection spans from the medieval period to the 20th century, featuring over 1,000 carpets from the 18th and 19th centuries. In addition to antique carpets, the museum showcases various carpet items such as chuvals, khurjuns, and torba.
