The Alabay Statue is a gilded sculpture located in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Standing 15 meters tall (with the statue itself at 29 feet and the pedestal at 20 feet), it depicts the Alabay dog. Created by artist Sargart Babaev under President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow's initiative in 2020, the statue is situated on a pedestal 9 meters high and occupies a roundabout along Magtymguly Avenue, between Taslama and Tehran streets.Â
